Meeting of the AC ZSVTS Council in Bratislava

One of the major projects of the Association of Slovak scientific and technological societies (ZSVTS) includes activities leading to the accreditation of engineering programs (Bachelor and Engineer). The ZSVTS created the Accreditation Centre as his branch, which concern is accreditation of engineering programs of study according to the criteria laid down by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE). In the summer, was held in Bratislava a Meeting of the Council of Accreditation Center ZSVTS (AC ZSVTS).

The aim was both to inform about the status of the accreditation process, which was conducted in the first half of the year 2016 at the three faculties of the Slovak technical universities (Faculty of chemical and food technology STU Bratislava, Faculty of Civil engineering STU Bratislava, Faculty of mechanical engineering TU in Košice), to discuss the opinion of the Commission, and also to discuss the the standpoint of the Methodological comission of the AC ZSVTS, activities planned in the second half of the year 2016. The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Evaluation team for accreditation carried out by AC ZSVTS Mr. Prof. Macukow from Poland, which reported on the progress of individual audits and the evaluation team looking for information about next procedures.
